Coming to Indianapolis, IN

Featuring experts in Church Architecture | Construction | Leadership | Funding | Church Health & Growth!

What story does your building tell about the kind of church God has called you to be?

Your community is your mission field.

Does your building reflect a ministry outpost or a religious museum?

Let’s rethink the purpose of church facilities and explore how we can bring the church back to the center of the community through spaces that are more flexible, accessible, hospitable, relevant and inclusive.

Discover how church buildings can be designed to be more effective ministry tools that meet the needs of the community 7 days a week.

Join us as we explore what it means to be an embedded church - a ministry that not only shifts from an internal to an external focus, but one that is physically and spiritually woven into the fabric of their community.

Steve Poe

Lead Pastor, Northview Church - Carmel, IN

Known to his friends and colleagues as a leader, teacher and visionary, Steve has served for 17 years as Lead Pastor of Northview Church. Under his leadership, the church has grown in attendance from 500 to over 8,500. Steve’s previous background in business gives him a distinctive understanding and heart for professionals. Under his leadership, Northview Church has grown from one campus, in Carmel, IN., to soon-to-be nine campuses, located in Carmel, Fishers, Lafayette, Westfield, Indy North, Anderson, Kokomo, New Castle Correctional Facility and Miami Correctional Facility, and the list continues to grow.

Steve has led Northview with a passion for the unchurched, and one part of the Church’s mission is to help people connect with God and with others. Serving others is a key element of this; so important, in fact, that once a year, Steve cancels services as the entire church goes out into the community to serve individuals and organizations.

Matt Roberts

Matt is the Founder and Lead Pastor of The Genesis Project, a church based in Ogden, Utah that has grown to a multi-site movement in 6 communities across the nation reaching thousands every week. For 18 years Matt has served in various roles helping churches and denominations revitalize and reimagine their church planting strategies through an embedded, sustainable, community lens. Matt and his family moved to Utah in 2005 to pursue a lifelong dream of planting a “church for people who don’t do church.” That dream has materialized as The Genesis Project, a church moved to reach the darkest areas of the city with the hope of Jesus. The church operates a full-service event center, community coffee shop, multiple ministry and rehabilitation homes and non-profit community services.
